Grilled Scallop Kabobs with Maple Teriyaki Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons Coombs Family Farms maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon tamari
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar

Preparation

Put all ingredients in a large bowl and mix together. Taste and adjust the seasonings, if desired. Stir in a pound of sea scallops, and marinate for 20 minutes in the refrigerator. Thread the scallops on skewers, leaving spaces between the scallops. Grill them over medium-hot fire until they are golden brown outside and opaque throughout, about 4 minutes per side.
